Eleventh Northeast Probability Seminar

The Eleventh Northeast Probability Seminar (NEPS) will be held at the
C. P. Davis Auditorium in the Schapiro Center at Columbia University
on November 15th and 16th, 2012.

The speakers are:

* Maury Bramson  (University of Minnesota)

“Maximal displacement of the two dimensional Gaussian free field and branching Brownian motion”

* Sandra Cerrai  (University of Maryland)

“Kolmogorov equations in Banach spaces and path-wise uniqueness for stochastic partial differential equations”

* Amir Dembo (Stanford University)

“Persistence probabilities”

* Alexander Soshnikov (University of California, Davis)

“Central limit type theorem in large random matrices with independent entries”

As at the previous seminars, there will time allowed for short,
informal talks and discussion sessions.

The program was chosen by the seminar’s scientific committee: Richard
Bass, Gerard Ben Arous, Sourav Chatterjee, Wenbo Li, Carl Mueller,
Daniel Ocone, Robin Pemantle, Victor de la Peña, and Jay Rosen.
